Throughout the Great Alpine Highway Region in the townships you will find access to Petrol or Diesel Services. Darfield is the main township in the area for Supermarket, Medical Centre, Dentist, Pharmacy, Ambulance Service. Police Stations are based in Darfield and Arthur's Pass with each township having their own volunteer fire brigade.
